In an effort to try and bring in more diversity to the capitals nightlife, the Essential Club management have teamed up with, whom some refer to already as a local artist, Laurent Dathie.

TECHNO TAKEOVER is offering a monthly guest DJ night on every first saturday of the month giving the opportunity to all techno music lovers as well as other curious visitors to get together and come have a great time knowing what to expect up front.

The idea of the night is to promote local Latvian and baltic states more underground techno artists to perform and share their passion on the big stage, or how Laurent likes to put it: to "bring the underground to the mainstream".

You can expect a different atmosphere with exciting visuals combined with a mix of underground and driving techno making every night a memorable experience.

This month we will be welcoming event series resident Laurent Dathie as well as one of very few young and talented DJanes in the country with a bright future ahead in the music industry: DJ Anett.

She is filled with passion and ambition, a music lover always looking sharp on stage and ready to make an impression in the Latvian electronic music scene.
